The Health Claims Specialist program provides comprehensive training
in the area of billing and coding in the healthcare environment. The
students are immersed in the terminology, diagnostic, procedural coding,
and record management required of healthcare professionals. Upon completion
of this program, students will be able to obtain positions in private
physicians' offices, clinics, hospitals, insurance companies, and claims
management companies.
